Hi guys. I am very new to virtualization. I installed Virtual Box under Win 7 Ultimate. I then installed Vail as a VM. How can I make the rest of my computers 'see' the Vail Server when it is running?

I'm more of a VMware guy, but I'm assuming VirtualBox will allow bridging the virtual network adapter you have assigned to the VM to your physical network? You need Vail to pull an IP from your networks DHCP server.

Yup, you will need to switch the network interface type of the virtual machine to bridged instead of NAT (which is the default I think).

This will pull an IP address from your router. As long as you have file and print serving turned on in WHS you'll be able to access the server by IP or hostname \\192.168.1.106 or something.

Thanks guys... I bridged the NIC... Works great. I have learned alot these past two weeks.
