v2400w is restarting randomly

Hey guys, my monitor has been "restarting" randomly every now and then. What would happen is I would just be doing something normal, and than the monitor would shut off and go black, and then it would say "dvi input" or something, and then it would turn back to normal.

Does anyone know if my new v2400w has cancer?

May be a video card issue as well. Try your rig with a different monitor and your same monitor on a different rig if possible. That would clear things up - also check for loose cables if you haven't done so already.

For how long have you had it?

if its new as in, brand spanking new, then dont worry too much.
mine went through the same thing. I have a thread about it somewhere.
it settled down after a while.I think (if i remember correctly) i did absolutely nothing to fix it.
but while trying to fix it, i reinstalled the drivers a number of times, even called up for an RMA (but never sent it in)
mine took around 2 weeks to settle down.
just double check that you have the latest drivers for the monitor and vid card, just in case.

try plugging it into the different port of the vid card etc.

it hasn't done it today, but my monitor is fairly new, like half a year at most. If it does it again I'm going to swap the card. Thanks for your input guys
