In the BIOS of my mobo...I try to set above 1.40...now I'm at 1.50 but when i go into windows and look at my voltage in CPU-Z it still says that I have 1.4 set....I go back to the BIOS but it actually says I still have 1.50 set...what's the deal here?
 
Have you looked in "Power" in the bios to see what's actually being reported. Iirc, the highest I could get with the sli-dlx was ~1.55 which didn't quite cut it for me.
