Im looking for the best vcard out for the money, money isnt really an option ill spend what needs 2 be spent but i dont wanna waste money if that makes sence. ive been looking at the asus x800pro x800xt 9800xt and also the 6800. all these cards are very known for being the best out, do u happen 2 know a good card for the money that i can run any game out on high quallity. and also is it worth spending the extra 200 or so dollars for the x800 xt?? tell me what u think
 
Not to be mean but...there are far too many "what videocard" threads already. I suggest reading the threads here then go to the [H] main page and read the reviews (including linked reviews on other sites) and make your decision that way.

If you can find a 6800 Ultra or an X800XTPE that would be the best. I'm leaning toward the Ultra a bit myself because ATi's OpenGL performance (and thus Doom3 performance SUCKS)...

However neither of these cards is available right now...you can't find them anywhere...so just get the Geforce 6800 GT and overclock it...you won't be disappointed...
 
It always depends what games you trying to play. If you want to play current games (Other than doom 3 and half life 2) Then go with 9800pro or FX 5900 or 5950.
