Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi...what happens with UV reactive stuff? If I have a UV light that goes on and off, what will products (say water tubing) that are UV reactive do? Do they light up like under a black light? (pics would help)
UV (Ultraviolet) is "black light" by definition. If you have something UV reactive, then it will "glow" when in the presense of UV. When the UV is off, the "glow" goes away (it's not like the radium on a watch dial, it will NOT continue glowing when the UV source is turned off)
"Flashing" a UV light source is not going to do anything other than waste electricity. Since there is no residual glow effect, it's rather pointless to flash it.
UV can get annoying, especially if you can see the source of the UV. It hurts to look at it. So hide it, and look at the effect (the UV reactive components) instead.
There are plenty of pictures of UV tricked stuff around. Cruise newegg (or wherever you shop for components) and most of the UV components will have photos taken under UV in the dark so you can get an idea of the effect.
