Well its not case modding, but i guess you guys would know more then ppl in motherboard section. So basicly the next pc i want to build is going to build around a 939 a64. and there isnt any uv reactive motherboards for socket 939's at this time. and the entire case/system is going to be build around being uv reactive, and the motherboard being uv reactive is a big part of it. so is there any guides you guys know of, or any info i can get about making a mother board uv reactive?

I know a few things, Vantec sells PCI slot and RAM slots that are UV reactive. They are also functional (very little tho) by keeping out dust. Other than that all I can think of is getting one of those gel pens and drawing on it.


UV reactive fan on your cpu heatsink too :p
 
The only company I know to produce a UV reactive Mainboard is DFI. Start by looking at their lan party series. If not there then your only option is probably to get a gel pen of UV reactive paint.

P.S. Prepare to put a Few CCFL's in your PC I've got Two in mine and all my UV reactive part's don't glow aswell as they should.

I've got UV reactive. Cables, Molex, Fans, Mainboard.

The Only thing left is my HSF.
 
yeah definitely get some powerful uv lights in there. i got a dfi lanparty nf2 ultra b with all the uv stuff, mobo, cables and fans, but you really cant see it very well with the 2 12" cathodes. definitely put some thought into placement of the lights, and about any other pci cards you are going to put in as possibly affecting the light.
 
MSI Platinum Series, Chasintech Zenith Series, And Gigabyte Series motherboards all have UV reactive parts on them, its just now 'All' UV reactive...
