So, i just got a new case in today, lian-li 75b, beautiful case, and i'm planning on putting some UV lights in it for the fans and wires. My question, how bright are some of these lights. I'm looking over at svc, and one of their black lights says 30,000 candelas/meter squared. Now if i remember, this is pretty bright, but i am just confirming, does anyone have any recommendations as to how many i need, and where i should get em, thanks!

I got some from SVC, and they are not bright at all. In fact, they do nothing...I"m thinking they're defective.

urs must be defective...

mine is very effective in lighting all my UV products in my case..

but i must tell ya.. i have Dual Cathode lights and 4 UV Fan (RING) cathode lights..

lol

so maybe my opinion doesn't count at all... lol jk

nah it's very good.. even if i only have the dual cathodes on it can light up all the components..

however do not go for those NEOn UV lights.. they are not bright at all..

Are UV cathodes drowned out by other ones? I have a Red one with a UV up top, and a Blue one with a UV on the bottom...none of my UV stuff glows that brightly.

well.. it WOULD give the same effect as if sunlight was showing into the case..

so yes.. tehy do get drowned out..
