UTORRENT WEB GUI QUESTION

I have a question about utorrent web gui. I installed it and setup the gui when i go to localhost/port/gui I log in with my user name and password and then it just shows nothing.

Just a blank white page any ideas why it doesn't work im using 1.6.1
 
What version of the webui are you using? The latest version that I am aware of is 0.361. I remember reading that early versions of webui did not support Internet Explorer. Try Firefox or another browser and see if you can see it.

Otherwise make sure that you have the latest version of the webui as well.
 
i had to disable windows firewall for it to work, i hate windows firewall....
 
I dont think i can upgrade the web gui without upgrading utorrent which i dont think i want to do from what i understand about the calling home

IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT UTORRENT DOES NOT CALL HOME. I WAS ONE OF THE WORRIERS TOO BUT THEN IT WAS SHOWN THAT IT INDEED DOES NOT CALL HOME. JUST UPGRADE AND USE THE LATEST VERSION, WORKS GREAT WITH WEB GUI.
