UT3 Review

You didn't sucker anyone in and you're the one needing to relax. It was a simple question. First of all, UT2004 did it differently and they weren't arrows btw. Second, it's a fairly consolish way of pointing you to your goal. That's why we have a map...

As is fairly obvious, this is something seen on console versions and not PC versions. Unless of course, what was seen in those videos, is from the console version.

o rly?

And no UT2004 had arrows pointing you in the right direction for the beginning of the map. It did the same thing where it trailed away from you and "snaked" its way to where you should go. Console? WHATEVER.

You're just searching for problems

I heard the arrows also serve the purpose of speeding up the hoverboard. But I can't "sk8" worth a damn and end up running into walls instead. :)

I don't know what you're talking about. UT2004 did not have arrows and we did have to press a key to see the colored things that crawled out of our characters/vehicles, to the objective.
And I'm not searching for problems. That's your narrow minded interpretation of a simple question. I'm only commenting on the videos I saw. I don't own and don't intend to buy UT3 anytime soon, since the beta demo didn't really appeal to me. You really should relax and get some fresh air...

I was interested, but spent my money on Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed and a new 360 instead.

I will get UT 3 once some of the problems are fixed... Epic rushed Gears of War out too for the PC, and I'm not making the same mistake twice.

Team Fortress 2 is enough for me when I get that PC itch, and I need to get Call of Duty 4 before UT 3 it seems.

Actually....in UT2004 there was a button you could press which would result in a bright flare shooting out of your character and heading to the objective. This was definately available in CTF, not sure about onslaught and assault though.
