i was wondering what types of fps's u guys are getting and with what vid card and what resolution u guys are using

im getting an avg of around 30fps on my Ti4200 at 800*600
yea i know, pretty crappy
 
Shoot.. I dont rmember... I think I was getting an avg of 70-80fps at 1024*768 with my rig
 
You should be getting a lot more FPS than that. Have you DeFragged lately? Ran Ad-Aware? Removed Spyware? What drivers are you using? I get an average of 50+ FPS at 1152x864 with 2xAA/4xAF.

i run ad aware frequently, i defragg every once in a while, newest drivers
however, i think i need to reformat
ionno i think my 4200 is dying b/c its performance is starting to go downhill

I'd say it is, go for a 9800pro in a couple weeks, they'll be cheap. or a 5900 or 5950...(in a couple weeks)
 
im hoping for the new generation of cards to come out so the 9800 pro will be <$175 :D
