Using Stereo Speakers!

is it possible to buy something from the egg that would allow me to use stereo speakers with my computer instead of buying new speakers. (the stereo speakers with the the black or red wire)

Yes, Im doing it right now, its very easy. You will need an amp/reciever though. Dont get too worried though becuase you can get a t-amp off ebay ($40) where all you do is plug the speakers into the t-amp and then the t-amp has a 1/4 inch interconnect that just plugs into your sound card. With any other amp it would work the same way except you would have to buy a connector to connect the amp to the computer.

Yea, you need an amp/reciever. The T-Amp is a good buy if you're just doing stereo (2 chan.).

My 10 year old AIWA stereo has RCA and TOSlink inputs. A 3.5mm to RCA cable is $6 at RadioShack. Works great!
