Hey guys. I just bought my new system (AMD opteron 1210, Biostar Tforce 560 a2+, 2gb OCZ gold ram, sycthe ninja rev.b cooler)

I also have some access to some 12v peltiers. Basically the same ones from ebay. Is there anyway that I can put these to good use? I can get them dirt cheap, and I am always up for trying new things!

Could I use them on, say, my NB? Any ideas would help, I have been researching peltiers, and see that they are pretty darned efficient at cooling(or heating;) )

Thanks alot and ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated!

No reason to use them on anything but the CPU or GPU.

So, you need ones at least 200w to really do much... And they need to be watercooled on the hot side.

^Yes and don't forget about cpu socket condensation possibly shorting out the mobo or corroding it to the point of loss of contact or shorting.

lol alright, so no peltiers....unless to make a portable beer cooler:)

thanks alot guys!
