using pc speaker system with xbox?

he's probably just better off using the money for those two things to buy speakers that have digital inputs
 
If you have those Inspires, instead of spending $150 on a preamp, it would be more cost effective to save up, sell the inspires, and get a 5.1 speaker system that already has the correct inputs.
