Using mouse/keyboard on two computer but never at same time

Is there a cheap way that I can connect a keyboard and mouse to two different computers.

I would never be using both computers at the same time, I know there are kv switches but I thought something more like a hub with two pc connections. because I don't need to use both at the same time.

Any ideas?

It's just for movie watching pcs so I don't need high level mouse performance.

It allows you to connect your mouse, keyboard, and a VGA monitor to two systems, and swap between them at the push of a button.

I liked synergy in the past. Sort of a virtual KVM, works pretty well.

And if your monitor has multiple inputs, you don't have to use the stupid VGA connector on that cheap KVM. If you only use one PC at a time, It will auto-detect which input is active and switch for you.

yeah it great actually, I use it on my desktop and on my laptop which are both on my desk. And I like the copy/past function, makes sending files from one computer to the other easy as hell lol
