Guys,

Looking to possibly roll my IDE Drives to the Sata Controller. Can I do this?
I have the SATA controllers on the MB. The type is in my sig.

What can I do or what do I really need in order to do this?
Or is it even possible?

thanks in advance..

you can get adaptors for about $40, but it's not really worthwhile.

Yep, your looking at $40 per drive for zero performance gain. And no one needs 4 optical drives, so these adapters are pretty much pointless IMHO.

Fry's has the adapters for $24.99, and you can use them to create a raid array with IDE Drives, or just to put one device on a single channel. Either way they are useful depending on what you want to do.
