I'm going to be visiting my dad for six weeks. At my mom's house, we have Cat6 popping up in every room, so playing Xbox Live, Xlink, and streaming media to the Xbox are never a problem.
My dad's house, however, only has wireless access. I want a way to have the Xbox use my laptop (iBook w/ Airport Extreme) as one of these.
I have tried Mac OS X's built in "sharing" feature, bringing the internet from the wireless back down onto the Ethernet. However, as of OS 10.3 it adds another NAT layer, so I fear that the Xbox won't have access to all the LAN services, like Xlink running on a Windows box somewhere.
Has anyone successfully done this?

Router -- (wireless) ---> iBook --> (crossover cable) --> Xbox
Router -- (wired) ---> PC tower
Because of the way the iBook bridges the connection, I don't know if the Xbox will be able to communicate with the PC tower without manual IP fumbling.
