We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Hey All,

I am trying to create a new sub user on my Powerbook G4, now when I tried to make a new user I did the following steps:

  • Went to system preferences
  • Clicked Accounts
  • Clicked the Plus tab under users

However when I click the Plus tab nothing happens, at all. Ive searched and it turns out that it is the proper way to do it in 10.3 so I cant figure out why nothing happens when I click the plus tab.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Yes I am verified.

Im trying to create it on My account which as full admin privliges, there is only one account on my computer so by default it has full admin privliges.

After my talk with a LaCie tech support guy (i'm no mac guy but it might help), he said to verify the permissions on the hard disk in your computer fixes the oddest problems.

You might want to try that out, if not, no harm done.

Go to applications -> utilities -> disk utility -> click on your disk -> verify permissions.

i had a fun time when i had 3 different hard drives, all with their own installation of osx

might be kinda dumb to ask...but did you click the lock (and the bottom) and enter your password? :p
