Well my moniter came with a disc and it works fine without it as it should. Should I use what is included on the disc? Do you guys use it?

Actually I’ve never seen any monitor work as it should right out of the box. I really believe that is why so many people post here with problems.

You didn’t specify which monitor or what type of monitor you have, but every one of them needs at least basic calibration, if not a full setup.

My guess is the disk has at least the “.inf” files your machine and video card needs to properly identify your unit. With luck there will be calibration programs on the disk as well.

I would look at the disk, see what’s there and make use of it. You might be surprised how much better a monitor looks after a proper setup is done. :D

Okay I will do that...I thought all it did was change the moniter to it's real name instead of "plug-n-play" moniter :D
