Use DDR2800 on Intel 805D....

Can i use the DDR2 800 ram on the Intel 805D? The reason is that im planning to upgrade to the Conroe later on and wanted to save money of not buying new sets of ram. Thanks.
 
you should be able to, it'll just run at whatever the max speed the mobo supports :D
 
There are only 2 or 3 motherboards that'll work with Conroe that are currently available, and why are you thread trashing everyone with Conroe?
