Im sure this is beating a dead horse but here it goes. Ive been noticing that transfering my stuff from my hds to my port-O-gig is taking a little longer then i thought( 7-9 min for a couple of gigs) compaired to ide to ide transfers. Well my port-O-gig has the oxford 922 chipset in it so it does usb2 and firewire on the same chip. I tested out the firewire. 10 megs a sec sustained, which was close to my estimits. I yanked out hte firewire and poped in the usb2 cable. Reran the sandra driver mark. 27 megs a sec. Am i missing something here?
