My kingston 8 GB usb thumb drive that I just picked up from newegg isn't formatting back to it's native disk size.

I was trying to use the HP disk utility to make it so I could boot from it but now it's FAT32 and only 4 gig.. lol is there any way to get windows to show 8 gigs again or did I nuke the lil bugger?
 
Did it show up as 8gigs when you got it? Could be a ninja misprint...
