USB wont recognize anything and

Hi, Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

I have a GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD4 LGA 1155 Intel Motherboard. I actually have 2 issues I have trouble with that I looked up on Google but I could not figure out what drivers I have to download. I have the Manufactures website for my specific Motherboard although to be honest i'm not sure if I have a rev 1.0 or 1.3. I will include the copy and paste links below as well as my specific Motherboard that I ordered on Newegg.

Now to my problem, i'll try to keep this short and simple.

1. My Motherboard wont go to sleep when I choose the Sleep Mode. What it does instead is go to sleep then turns back on , goes to sleep and turns back on this can go on for awhile until it eventually goes to sleep by itself. This can go back and forth for a long time.

2. My USB ports will not recognize anything I plug into it unless it's right after a fresh restart or after I turn my computer on after it was off.However, if my computer has been on for awhile it will eventually not recognize anything that is plugged into it. For example I want to charge my ipod right now but I can't because when I plug it in nothing happens.

Had a similar sleep problem on my Asus board a while back. Found a tutorial for troubleshooting it and got the issue fixed.

As for the USB, I'd try removing the controllers in Device Manager and let Windows rediscover them after a reboot.
