USB VS Analog

Maybe I missed it as the search engine kept timing out on me but....

I dont understand how USB Headphones will work with my system with an aftermarket sound card?

Will it still have the upgraded sound from my card and what are the advantages/Disadvantages of having a USB headset over a standard analog?

They don't
They have their own USB DAC built in, and they completely bypass your soundcard

USB Headphones: Just don't do it
