Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am looking for a good usb hdtv tuner, with remote possibly. can anyone point me in the direction of a good one, or some articles about them. Maybe both? I am planning on using Windows 7 media Center for TV and maybe recording...
i posted about that one and nobody cares, but im telling you its a rock-solid good quality product. it works extremely well, for any price. it doesn't have rca-inputs like most pci tuners, its just an ota tuner... the price reflects that though. for $35 it puts OTA HDTV on your pc or laptop, and uses your video card for processing with dvxa... so it doesnt use your system resources. it is also listed to see QAM channels, i have not tried that but i would imagine those work fine too.
ive been using mine for weeks now, its been perfect. i normally dont ever suggest buying off brand produts, especially kworld... but this one is done right.
ive heard the silicon dust hd homerun recommended several places. Its a dual tuner external box that connects via ethernet, that is it sits on your lan.
its more than $100 though
I dont know what the status is on it under win7.
if you are planning on win7 64bit, i would verify anything you buy has drivers for that.
