Are there any reliable USB to DVI connectors? Id like to have a 3rd monitor for my laptop setup...

I currently an using an EVGA one and it has MAJOR screen lag.
 
Oh wow I can't imagine there's one that would work well. USB does not have the bandwidth, it's 60MB/s and that's a speed it never reaches because of protocol overhead. I think 720p is something like 150MB/s. Maybe if you use really low resolutions.
 
I think it's possible. There was a product i saw a while back. It compresses the video before sending it through the USB and it gets decompressed on the other side.

Quality is crap tho.
 
Why not a Matrox solution.

Im open to any other solutions just dont want to make it too expensive bc im trying to expense this.
 
Sewelldirect has one that I have personally used. For basic office applications, it ran just like a normal 2nd monitor. No lag.
