This is going to be kind of an odd question but since USB memory sticks key chains what ever you want to call them have flooded the market is there anyway to get windows to recognize it as a hard drive instead of a removable device? Like get it to show up as a normal USB hard drive

Oh and can anyone recommend any tools for retrieving information off a messed up USB keychain?
 
its not there permanently so thats why its a removeable device. id say just leave it in there which i think is what your doing, but just have to deal with the removeable disk thing. i dont think there is a way of making it recognize as a hard drive...
