I was wondering whether there is any universal driver for webcams?

i have a usb stick camera (the flexible ones) that have no brand on them, and i have lost the driver.

since there is no writing on it, i dont know the brand, and i cant find a good driver anywhere.

any one has any idea what to do?

thanks

There must be some writing of some kind on it, at least w/ FCC info etc. Assuming that there is a model number on the camera near the other writing, type it in on google and see what comes up. That's pretty much the only chance you have if windows won't recognize it as a removable drive.

If your using Windows XP it should pickup a normal webcam using a standard driver, I know for my crappy logitech cam I don't need a driver.

If it really does need a driver can't you go back to whence it came and find the make from there?
