USB receiver on a PS2 adapter? Will it work?

Hey guys,

I have a wireless keyboard with a USB receiver for it. Also a USB to PS2 adapter.

My question is, will the USB receiver work in the PS2 port with the adapter attached? If so, will it increase the Key Roll-over value for the keyboard? :confused:

Unless the keyboard has native PS/2 support or you're using an active converter it won't normally work, same goes for KRO. While an active converter would definitely work for functionality, it won't change KRO, but it will add more latency.

On a side note; there is functionally no difference between low/full-speed USB and PS/2. The difference in latency is so low it is not perceivable; if it is, there is something wrong with your computer. The only reason you should want to go for a PS/2 converter is to gain another USB slot.
