Just bought a new asus a8n-sli board. Set up went fine, installed winxp (sp2) with no problems but none of my USB ports seem to work ...I tried installing the USB driver that came on my mobo cd but it said I didnt need it cuz of sp2. Checked the device manager and it said all my usb controllers are installed. Checked the BIOS, USB is enabled, checked connections to my motherboard: nothing, no power no nothing. What could be causing this? I'd rather not RMA my board as I've been without a pc for 2 freakin long weeks

thanks in advance

my specs:

evga 7800gt
asus a8n-sli
amd 64 3700
120G sata hd

enermax 350W psu (enermax 535W to be installed tonight)

I had a similar problem with my Asus AN-8 SLI Deluxe. All of a sudden, only 2 USB devices would work. If I plugged in a third, it would not be recognized. Tried everything that you did. I reinstalled the Nforce 4 drivers and it has worked fine since then. Strange.
