USB ports can't detect ANYTHING except keyboard and mouse

So after installing Windows 7, I wanted to install my drivers, but long and behold all my USB ports can't detect thumbdrives or external harddrives. At first, I thought that all my USB ports were shot, but then I realized that it's because I haven't installed the USB 3.0 drivers for my motherboard. I'm assuming that Windows 7 doesn't support USB 3.0 natively but Windows 10 does? Also, my motherboard is the Asus Maximus VIII Impact, and it does not have any USB 2.0 headers or USB 2.0 ports, so I'm all out of luck to install drivers.
So my question is are my only options to copy the USB drivers to a DVD or CD and then install from there so that I can resume using my thumb drive to install all the other drivers next? This step seems so tedious as I don't even have any DVDs or CDs anymore and will have to go buy some now. (SMH). Or is my other option to get Windows 10, which means I also have to go buy a Windows 10 CD.

Thanks,
