I dont know if shuch thing exists, but I am looking for a On/Off switch for a USB cable. The reason I am looking for one is I have a little led light cannon that shines on my keyboard and I want to switch it off when I dont need it. The contacts are getting really worn from plugging it in an unplugging it. Its plugged into a hub that is on all the time too so it doesnt turn off when the computer does, and my computer is too far away anyway.

Short and simple, if such thing exists where can I get one. I dont even care if its a modding guide, if it doesnt exist, ill just get creative and build one.

Thanks!

Thanks, probably cheaper to DIY.

Is that a USB cable btw? The wire gauge looks really thick

I was wanting to do the same thing, but internally. I knew that I wold have to switch the 5V but can someone point me in the direction of a *small* switch that has an led built in that tells me when it is on.
