Title really says it all.

I need one of these 'Win7 compatible' WIRELESS USB network adapters but didn't feel like wasting time trying to figure out which ones were good or utter crap. I already know DLINK is absolute shit and I will NEVER buy another of their products again. Other than that, I don't really care.

My budget is $50, though preferably less. I have top-mounted USB ports with an extender already so it won't matter about signal strength.

Any suggestions on brands and specific adapters? Also are there ones not listed by M$ that actually work well with Win7 WITHOUT having to install separate drivers/software?

Do internal wireless cards get a much better signal? I just like having the convenience of USB and instantly yank it out to disconnect the net when needed, like when I get a hang-up for a game trying to connect to the game server.

Thanks for the feedback, I found this at my local walmart:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Belkin-Basic-Wireless-N150-USB-Adapter/14138824

Same basic thing, hopefully works just as well. If it doesn't do so, I'll just return it and pay a few $ more at the Best Buy.

Again, thanks everyone =D

EDIT: A quick update on this. The Adapter is a 'Belkin F7D1101' USB Wireless Adapter. Works flawlessly, never gave me issues, installed seamlessly, fantastic purchase, makes me want to recommend Belkin stuff to everyone I can.
If anyone hopefully comes across this, now you know :)
AND AVOID FUCKING DLINK SHIT! =)

UPDATE (Sept 1st 2013): Still using this Belkin Adapter after ~2 years. ZERO issues and SO happy with it :)
