Title really says it all.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/co...work Cards&compat=certified&results=50&page=1
I need one of these 'Win7 compatible' WIRELESS USB network adapters but didn't feel like wasting time trying to figure out which ones were good or utter crap. I already know DLINK is absolute shit and I will NEVER buy another of their products again. Other than that, I don't really care.
My budget is $50, though preferably less. I have top-mounted USB ports with an extender already so it won't matter about signal strength.
Any suggestions on brands and specific adapters? Also are there ones not listed by M$ that actually work well with Win7 WITHOUT having to install separate drivers/software?
Do internal wireless cards get a much better signal? I just like having the convenience of USB and instantly yank it out to disconnect the net when needed, like when I get a hang-up for a game trying to connect to the game server.
