I have a sorta unique problem, I think. I live in Japan and have a modem supplied by my ISP. I have it running via their provided driver on my English XP Pro, but 32 bit. I'm thinking that there would be some generic driver that could run this thing (either x64 or x32), but just don't know. It's a simple modem with no bells or whistles. I'd think these sorts of modems are all virtually the same in how they operate.

Do you think a generic driver exists to run this thing??? Perhaps a generic driver within XP??? I just don't know.

It doesnt have ethernet?

Only usb?

The modem that is.

Yeah. The phone line goes into the modem, then it's dumped to my pc via usb. There are no other connections, save the line out for our phone service.

Doh! I should note also that it is ISDN.
