USB Microphone

care to elaborate a bit beyond such a cryptic statement?

for example:

"Hi my name is [xxx] and I'd like to do [xxxx] and my budget is [xxxx], could you tell me what could satisfy my usage desire/need"

Are they any good and which ones???

Check out the Samson Go mic, one of the smallest condenser mics I have seen. He are some videos of it in use.

Here is another where the guy edits the middle of the video with a recording from the mic itself, dramatically different from his standard mic, his voice is deeper.

goes for around 60 bucks, so not the same as a cheapie for 20 bucks, but if you want a portable mic that is more the the standard fare from logitech, this one is pretty damn nice, and I really wish someone had mentioned it to me long ago when I asked about mics on this forum.

The scope of most people is only logitech or that zalman clip on mic. Not in the same class. And this one won't break the bank.

On usb mics in general, they are more consistent as you are not a slave to your board audio solutions. Even if you have a decent set for your desktop a notebook will almost always be inferior. A solid usb mic bypasses that issue.
