USB issue when coming out of Sleep

On my Vista box see sig...

I have a USB port on the front that keeps saying the device is not
recognized when coming out of sleep. It's a Shuttle iPod, 2nd generation.

If I unplug it and plug back in, finds it most of time. Moving it to my
hub off the Dell 2405 Monitor I don't have the issue at all, works great.
Plugging in other devices to the port are no problem.

Any ideas or clues what to look for?

i know this doesnt help but i am experiencing the same thing. in my case its an apc backups xs 900 that when the pc comes out of standby or hibernation it doesnt recognize the usb port connected to it. must be a vista problem since you are having the issue with an ipod. i hope ms fixes it.
