Usb hub gets quite hot.

My IOgear 2.0 usb mini-hub gets pretty hot when I touch it. It connects my mouse, printer, and ext. hd.

Kinda dumb question but, would it damage the usb connectors over time?

Bump. I'd actually like an answer as well. Or, did the OP find a sol'n, and if so, what was it?

If its too hot to touch then I wouldn't keep on using it. An idea would be to get a USB PCI card to add more ports without using the hub. You might want to call IO Gear and RMA it or at least see what they have to say.

That it gets hot, yes that is a concern. It *should* not damage any devices plugged into it though. It, however, will probably break on its own in a short time. I would replace it.
