I have a WD 2.5 40 GIG passport usb 2.0 drive
Fujitsu 100 gig 2.5 in a 2.0 usb enclosure

Is there any software or utility that can read usb 2.0 and/or firewire (1394A) drive temps?
Thanks

So far, I haven't seen anything that does... of course I only have one external enclosure, but programs like speedfan just refuse to see it as a drive and try to read the SMART data. Makes it hard to do drive diagnostics. :(

your enclosure would have to have a sensor in it..... and if it did then the software shipped with the enclosure, if any, should have it.
