Like the title says, im wondering if there any external floppies that work in dos? I wanna get rid of the internal floppy but i do use it for flashing, so using a usb floppy only when its needed would be handy dandy. Thanks.

i think it depends more on the motherboard settings than the floppy drive, am i right?

Yes it will, but like said above, it might require some tweaking. I think on most newer computers, it's fairly easy though.

Got to say - I'm not sure as I've never tried it. At a minimum, I'll bet you'll need DOS drivers for the USB subsystem. Only a guess.....

I have a k8n neo2 if that helps? I guess there is no way without loading dos usb drivers eh?

...again a guess, but my thinking is that you're right.

Booting from the CDROM is one thing, having it work under DOS is quite another. Keep in mind that even CDROM's won't work in DOS without a driver being loaded, and my hunch is that the USB sybsystem is no different.
