USB flash drive not bootable in startup

I have an old dell inspiron 3000 that im trying to get running just for fun.

So i have windows xp on a bootable flash drive,and it will not boot to it. Also its not in the bios menu. What can this be? Im usually good with computers,but now i can't seem to get it to work! LOL

If it has the support, it has to be enabled in the bios. Also try the manual boot menu to see if usb storage is available as a boot device.
 
I don't think that model laptop, being as old as it is, supports booting from USB.
 
Is there a bios update i can do? But it doesn't even have windows.

The specs are enough for windows xp.
 
some older notes dont have that support or others you have to enter bios AN ADD the device manual
 
dell inspiration 3000 boot able option available form usb but need some step first of all you make a usb boot able with the help of software then you need to check the bios for enable the option.regards
 
Please Confirm You sure your USB 100 % Boot able and tell me how to make the USB Boot able.Regards
