USB controller in Device Manager has yellow triangle.

Hi, I have installed all drivers yet there is still a usb controller in device manager that has a yellow triangle.

Any ideas how I can fix it?

That's a bit vague as just about anything could cause that yellow triangle to appear.

What are the specs of your system?

Which USB devices are you using?

Do all of your USB-based devices work properly?

Does your motherboard/system supports USB 3.0? If so, how?

Are you using any USB 3.0 devices? On any USB 2.0 ports?
 
I have an ASRock 970 Extreme3 with an AMD Phemon X4 965.

Everything seems to work fine, but I don't have any USB 3 devices. The only USC devices I am using is a wired keyboard and mouse, I also have connected a wireless keyboard and mouse. That's it. The wifi dongle is connected via one of those multi port hub things.
 
Are you sure you installed all the USB related drivers for your motherboard?
 
Well try unplugging all USB devices except the mouse and keyboard (if they are usb) and see if the triangle goes away. If it does, then start plugging in USB devices one at a time until it comes back.

Also if you are using any HUBs or anything of that sort, by pass it. Connect the mouse/keyboard directly to the USB headers on the motherboard.

If you get down to just the mouse/keyboard and the triangle is still present, then check for drivers for either mouse or keyboard and/or unhook the cases USB headers.

Also, what does Windows say when you view that device?
