usb causing buzzing in front headphone jack

I switched to a NZXT Tempest Evo case and when I tried the front headphone jack, I noticed a buzzing noise. After 5 mins of searching I read this post:

I disconnected my external drive from the front USB ports and the buzzing went away. Is there anyway to use both the front USB ports and headphone jack but get rid of the buzzing?

BTW I know I can just get a splitter and connect to the rear of the mobo but I'd rather not resort to that.
