usb 802.11g jumpdrive

just wondering if someone can recommend a brand. ive checked newegg and ive read a lot of mixed reviews on em. the last thing i want is it dropping a connection constantly while recording the server. im using it for my htpc since all of my pci slots are used.

You mean USB NIC? They work alright...you don't get the strongest of signals with the short thumb length ones..but the external ones that run on a leash..with a stand and decent sized antenna, work better.

ya those. can u recommend one. i just needs something thats reliable. i know wired is the way to go, and usb wireless is so-so at best, but i dont have much of a choice at this point

Search for a Senao EUB-362. You should be able to get it for $70 or so, great quality and at 200 mw way more powerful than anything Newegg carries.
