If you have a new MB with USB3 external (on back) and internal (for case plugs), will you be able to use a case with USB ports on the front? Seems like you would need USB 3 inter MB ports and case ports that are USB3 sockets for things to work, correct?

So, one would then have to wait for cases to become avail with USB 3 ports on the front.
 
Well yes, or you could just live with headers being on the back of your case. An extension cord or hub would work wonders.

You don't need USB 3.0 for everything. The front ports can just remain 2.0 for now.
 
Well that sucks. Will need new case once USB3.0 becomes widespread; you will need USB3.0; 2.0 is just so goddamn slooooww.w.w.www..w.www
 
You can use 10mb ethernet too, but that doesn't make it 100 speed fast, just "ok".
