So I'm doing a black & red build, but of course the standard USB 3 header cable is bright blue and sticks out like a sore thumb. I did some poking around for black or red extension cables, but the cheapest one I can find is $10. Seems like such a trivial bit of plastic and wire ought to be cheaper than that...

In any case, I'm curious what other people do when they want their USB3 header cable to match the rest of their build. Do you just pay the $10, or are there other inexpensive solutions I'm missing?
 
I would just pay the $10. That is a small amount compared to what some folks spend on their themes. Other thought might be to buy some plasti-dip, cover the connection portion and color the rest. Chances are that's going to cost you close to $10 to do.
