I'm thinking of getting a Transcend Information USB 3.0 Card Reader. My motherboard has plenty of USB 3.0 ports. Do I need a USB 3.0 cable to get the maximum speed of the USB 3.0 card reader or can I use a regular USB cable? If I need a USB 3.0 cable what's a good one? I can't seem to find a regular USB 3.0 cable on amazon.

Yes if you need a cable it needs to be USB3 cable, it contains more wires than USB2.

If this what you are buying

it looks like it comes with the cable but the images are not very clear on that.
