I have the rig in my sig below running Windows XP w/ SP2. The Chaintech website states that the 6 USB ports present are all USB 2.0. But when I put in a USB 2.0 storage drive, it states that I have USB 1.1, not USB 2.0.

Furthermore, Device Manager shows a Standard USB Controller. I have downloaded and installed the latest Nvidia Chipset drivers but apparently I am still missing something. Can someone help me with this?

You have the service packs? IIRC its SP1, (but it might be SP2) you need for usb2 to work.

If the USB 2.0 is on board, install the chipset drivers for your motherbard. That should do it.

How to check for USB 2.0.

Installation Notes

* Windows XP users must install Service Pack 1, at a minimum, prior to attempting to install this package. Failure to do so will result in the inability to support USB 2.0.

IIRC, on my 8RDA3+, I had to (per the manual) use the Update Driver wizard for the USB controller. When I did, it retrieved the driver from MS, and enabled 2.0. Not that it matters for me, I have no USB 2.0 devices.
