My E6400 C2D w/8800GT rig really has a problem moving windows around the screen and is very sluggish. The problem goes away just a few seconds after quiting the GPU client and comes back just a few seconds after restarting it. I've been folding on this rig for over a year and it seems it just started doing this. I updated to the latest nvidia drivers, 191.07 I think, and the problem still persists. In the GPU client config screen I have priority set to slightly higher. I also run WinAFC but have not changed the config lately so I don't see where that could be the cause. None of my 3 other rigs have this problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

Go into the nVidia control panel and disable Physx. That will probably fix the problem. Someone finally suggested that to me as I didn't GPU fold for more than 6 months because of the same problem you're having. Since disabling Physx, I haven't had a problem with GUI sluggishness or jerkiness.

 
Smoke and Kendrak - thanks to both for the reply. Disabling Physx did not help but enabling Aero fixed the issue. It's an honor to fold with a bunch of guys as helpful as you all. Fold on [H]orde Brethren:D
