Nice Find!! Now someone needs to call to make sure those phone numbers work...LOL J/K.

rep. on phone today told me , that company will honor warranty on cards and that the 10 day reg. is not to worry about. thier link is beening fixed to resolve this issue and they are fully aware of the warranty and are willing to work with any1 that has purchased a card. so far im in on 3 orders lol cant afford it but for the price damn hard to pass.

As long as these deals last i'd probably say this should be stickied hehe, damn I should hop on these deals, so cheap.

Pretty nice.. Now the question remains, what exactly does their lifetime warranty entail.. True lifetime ala XFX/EVGA, and do they allow cooler swaps, and overclocking as well? If so, they've gained some notches of respectability, assuming their CS stands up (time will tell). I don't think however that I should have to register to find out (the warranty specifics) - was the same w/ their non-USA centric site as well.

I like that they're one of the few to actually do non-reference boards, have HDMI ports, and HDMI adapters in the package, unlike most others...

Oh and they may have a US site now, and a CA mailing address, but would their RMAs be shipped to CA, or (hope not!) China, like some of the lesser competitors?

i know fxvideocards.com is not on the list of "place purchased" so i still cannot register my card. I emailed CS at fxvideocards.com to find out if they have to do something first to get added to the list or what we should do..

I emailed them as well, and they responded right away and got it straightened out.

The website is not complete, so you have to register with them via email correspondence.

hrm...Melissa at fxvideocards emailed me right back saying they were working on it and would let us know when they got it straightened out....

did you say you registered via email through fxvideocards or through Zotac direct?

From what I can tell, their policy is still that they do not cover damage due to overclocking and do not allow cooler swaps.

Here's a link to their Video card FAQ.

Does water-cooling or installing a third party cooling solution on my video card void the warranty?

Any modifications to the ZOTAC hardware will void the warranty on our products. The ZOTAC warranty does not cover any tampering with the physical hardware -- example: replacing the factory fan with third party cooling solutions such as different fans or water cooling solutions. Any physical damage such as burn marks, water damage or physical damage to the PCB will void ALL warranties.

Pretty much, I wouldn't buy their cards unless you plan on using them at stock values just so you don't have to think of a way to circumvent their warranties. Go with XFX or eVGA who plainly state that they do cover aftermarket coolers (so long as you don't physically damage the card) and overclocking. In fact, it's encouraged by them to overclock their cards.

I've emailed Zotac with a link to this thread.

I suggest other card holders email them requesting they revisit their policy on after market cooling.

That quote looks like standard warranty disclaimer to me.
The last sentence makes it pretty clear that visible damage to the card would void the warranty...if you sent a card to xfx or evga with physical damage to the card my guess is they'd not warranty it either. But I've never RMA'd a fried or water damaged card before, so can't say for certain :\
