So, I'm using a Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP Deluxe to capture screenshots from an S-Video feed from a console for a project that I'm working on. Yesterday the video coming in started to get corrupted; I thought it was just some feedback somewhere, so I didn't worry too much about it. But now all of the video that's coming in is really corrupted, and cleaning out the cords, switching from S-Video to composite, updating drivers, checking on multiple consoles, etc., has failed to come up with the culprit. I haven't changed any of the settings in my software, and indeed I've tried it in both DScaler and the software that came with the card, and there's no change. Does anyone have any recommendations based on this picture?
I've tried screwing around with the deinterlacing options in DScaler, but none of them change the fundamental corruption of the video that's coming in. It seems fairly likely that my vid capture card is just screwed, but I figured I'd throw it out to the gurus here before caving in and buying another.
