Hey guys. i have a comp setup with the AMD 3700 processor. It is socket 754. Ever since i put this thing together it has always shut off randomly. I dont know what the problem is. Is it over heating or somethimg else is wrong. I have tried a different Heat sank and installed multiple fans. Please Help this is getting annoying..

Thanks

two things:

1. shouting isn't allow in title, but it's too late. i'm sure lethal or another mod will be by at some point to fix that for you ;)

2. rig specs would be VERY useful.

Ok Thanks I will try that again..
And "reapplying" doesn't mean put more on...remember that "less is more" with thermal paste. Start over by cleaning all the old stuff off and reapplying a very thin, even layer on the processor.

and make sure your vcore is set right in bios and that HSF is mounted properly..

also shut off doesnt have to be from temp, could be a short in your wireing that is tapped or something so check all wire that no bare wires are showing

PSU too.

Doesn't have to be temps, but that is the most likely cause.

Remember, too much paste actually acts like an insulator.

Yeah ,check you voltage rails. If they are tooo low, that would cause the symptoms. I once had that problem before on a Gigabyte board, the only solution was to replace the board.
